The Walls Came Tumbling Down

It only took 15 minutes for the contractor to rip out this small section of wall and another 5 to clean up.  We now have an official island.

And the kitchen has a bridge now.  I’m really hoping there aren’t any trolls living under this bridge.  Just to be on the safe side, the kids aren’t allowed to go across it.

I keep telling myself it has to get worse before it can get better, thinking that we have reached the worst.  Oh, but I’m wrong every time.  Monday it gets worse again.  It’s time to get ready for the drywall guy and the electrician.  Then, maybe it will start to get better, or not.  This is definitely an adventure.
